Cutting, shaping, assembly, welding: they have complete mastery of the various stages required to build the hull, deck, coachroof and cockpit. Piece by piece, the components are assembled with precision, until the boat&#8217;s structure comes together.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alubat.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Coque-alu-prend-forme-300x185.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"185\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This trade demands great precision and an in-depth understanding of how aluminium behaves. Every weld and every joint contribute to the quality and robustness of a structure designed to withstand the test of time and the rigours of sailing.<\/p>\n<p>Once the structure is complete, the boat enters a new phase of its construction.<\/p>\n<a role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><button id=\"fl-accordion--button-3\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--content-3\" aria-expanded=\"false\" type=\"button\">Protected at every latitude<i data-label-icon=\"fas fa-plus\" data-active-icon=\"fas fa-minus\">Expand<\/i><\/button><\/a><p>Once the structure is complete, the boat enters a new phase of its construction.<\/p>\n<p>In one of the shipyard&#8217;s two paint booths, the hull is ready to have its insulation installed and the underwater hull prepared.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alubat.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Double-isolation-300x200.webp\" alt=\"Double isolation li\u00e8ge projet\u00e9 et mousse\" width=\"344\" height=\"229\" \/>Inside, two layers of <b>sprayed cork <\/b>are applied from the waterline up to the deck level. Sprayed cork is an excellent thermal bridge breaker and thus helps to minimise the risk of condensation. Its application allows all interior surfaces to be covered, right into all the nooks and crannies formed by the structural reinforcements. This initial insulation is supplemented by Armacell insulating foam. It enhances thermal insulation and also contributes to acoustic comfort on board.<\/p>\n<p>The combination of these different layers of insulation creates a comfortable and cosy interior environment suitable for sailing in all latitudes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/alubat.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Peinture-300x202.webp\" alt=\"Process de peinture voiliers \" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you opt for a painted finish, each surface undergoes a particularly meticulous process: preparation, priming, sanding and painting are carried out in precise succession. Nothing is left to chance: every component must be correctly positioned, securely fastened and perfectly integrated into the boat as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Electrical and electronic systems, meanwhile, are integrated directly at the shipyard by technicians from our specialist partner. Space is limited, surfaces are rarely perfectly straight, and every fitting must conform to the shape of the hull yet be able to withstand the motion of the sea. Furniture, bulkheads, headlining and fittings are thus installed piece by piece until they sit perfectly in place. The marine joiner does not simply manufacture items of furniture: they work in harmony with the hull, its constraints and the demands of sailing to create spaces that are functional, harmonious and durable.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This standard takes on an extra dimension at ALUBAT, where customisation plays a key role. Every owner has their own needs, habits and unique way of life on board.
