She has been <strong>very well maintained by her owners<\/strong>, who put her through her paces during their voyages in<strong> Norway for two years and then in the Mediterranean.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She is a two-double-cabin version with a classic saloon that converts into a sleeping area and a technical compartment with a berth.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>OVNI 430 is equipped with an OceanVolt AXC24 electric engine<\/strong> paired with a Fisher Panda AGT generator (11 kW &#8211; 600h) and LiFePO4 batteries (4 x 24 V, 230 Ah).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The OVNI 430 is perfectly equipped for long voyages and features a rigid aluminum canopy to ensure well-protected watches.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The layout features a spacious forward cabin, a comfortable portside aft cabin, a welcoming saloon with plenty of storage, a functional galley with all-electric cooking appliances, a chart table facing the direction of travel, and a head with a separate shower.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The starboard aft storage compartment, also accessible from the cockpit, houses a berth and all the electrical equipment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>For any questions regarding the electric propulsion system<\/strong>, her sister ship, the OVNI 430 &#8220;Nikola&#8221;-equipped with the same system-has published extensive information on her blog: https:\/\/www.sailing-nikola.com\/hybrid-electric<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A word from the owners<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<em>We are Canadians and have been sailing for over 40 years, renting various boats.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>We decided to buy a boat so we could set sail for 5-6 months a year.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>We were looking for a long-distance cruising boat based on three criteria:<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8211; safety at sea, reliability, and sturdiness<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8211; a maintenance-free hull<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8211; resale value<\/em><br \/>\n<em>We have not been disappointed with our OVNI 430-quite the opposite.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Having sailed in the North Seas (Norway, Scotland, Ireland, etc.) and then in the Mediterranean, we appreciated:<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8211; her stability at sea<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8211; her performance upwind and downwind in strong winds<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8211; the visibility and natural light provided by the panoramic deckhouse and the protection of the doghouse<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8211; the living space in the saloon, the separate shower, and a spacious engine compartment<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8211; the choice of a safe hybrid propulsion system, which provided us with good range, allowed us to motor-sail quietly and without fumes on numerous occasions, made it easy to maneuver in and out of the harbor, and required no maintenance.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8211; and the absence of propane, thanks to an induction cooktop and a convection oven (no more lugging around propane tanks and better indoor air quality), as well as a Torqueedo electric motor for the dinghy.<\/em>\n<p><em>We have taken great care of this boat, which has been stored on dry dock every winter for the past 3 years.<\/em><\/p>\n<em>We are parting with her with great emotion-due to family circumstances and our age-but she is in excellent condition and ready to go.
