Backed by 50 years’ experience in the design and construction of blue water sailing yachts, we have collaborated with the naval architecture teams from Mortain & Mavrikios and CBA to create the OVNI 430.
This yacht heralds a new generation of cruising boats, where innovation is harnessed to fulfil the essential: sailing far, for long periods and with peace of mind. Its modern lines – featuring a chined hull and a rounded, inverted bow – combined with its carefully designed ergonomics and generous interior space, blend with the intrinsic qualities of aluminium to offer a boat that is as high-performing under sail as it is comfortable for everyday living.
Designed for both the open sea and coastal stopovers, the OVNI 430 combines freedom of sailing, safety and the art of living, with a unique ability to adapt to the most varied boating projects.
With its centreboard, the OVNI 430 offers exceptional freedom for sailing. Its retractable centreboard allows access to shallow anchorages, reduces its draught and opens up stopovers that are inaccessible to many fixed-keel sailing boats.
Its modern hull, designed by Mortain & Mavrikios and CBA, prioritises a balance between performance, comfort and safety. Its deck layout and ergonomics are designed to facilitate sailing manoeuvres and enable efficient sailing, even when short-handed.

Aluminium offers excellent strength, great durability and remarkable recyclability. A construction philosophy that supports major sailing projects over the long term.
Like all OVNIs, the 430 is built from 5083 aluminium, a material renowned for its mechanical properties, impact resistance and durability in the marine environment. The aluminium we use is 70 per cent recycled and it is infinitely recyclable.
Our signature feature is the semi-thick aluminium construction. The hull, deck, coachroof, cockpit and superstructures, right down to the through-hull fittings, are all made of aluminium, forming a robust and durable yacht.
The design of the OVNI 430 also benefits from our experience as builders of blue water yachts. Every component is designed to facilitate access to equipment, its maintenance and upgrades over the years.

Aboard the OVNI 430, comfort isn’t just about space. It is evident in every detail.
The distinctive shape of the coachroof offers a remarkable panoramic view, enhanced by the “raised saloon” version. Whether standing in the saloon, seated at the saloon table or at the chart table, you’ll enjoy plenty of natural light and a direct view of the outside.
This openness to the sea allows, in particular, for active watchkeeping from inside – a real advantage when weather conditions call for remaining sheltered while keeping an eye on the surroundings.
The double insulation of sprayed cork and foam ensures excellent thermal and acoustic protection. It minimises temperature exchange with the outside and helps reduce condensation, ensuring a comfortable interior whether in the tropics or at high latitudes.
On board, movement towards the bow is natural and unobstructed. The large galley is seamlessly integrated into the living area and features ample storage space to keep everything you need within easy reach.
The spacious owner’s cabin also offers plenty of storage and a truly comfortable living environment on board. The bathroom features a large separate shower. And the engine compartment can be configured in various ways to suit your sailing programme.
Aft, the double cabin completes a layout designed to comfortably accommodate the crew and guests.

A cockpit open to a large sugarscoop transom, topped by an aluminium arch for stowing the dinghy and integrating solar panels and antennas, is ideal for blue water work. Visibility and the sailing experience are optimal thanks to its dual helm stations, with centralised controls at the companionway to provide shelter under the aluminium canopy (optional) whilst on watch. The unobstructed side-decks, the spacious sail locker and a flat foredeck ensure safe movement around the boat.
Combined with its slender rig featuring aft-swept spreaders, moderate headsail area and a retractable centreboard, the hull offers excellent stability and performance.
